The titles Soup and Hibiskus refer to the two series of works of Andy Warhol, known as Campbell’s Soup Cans and Flowers equivalently. The participants are encouraged to use the 3d-printed, homemade silicone stamps with the red ink, and reproduce the logo anywhere on the one wall and the flowers anywhere on the opposite wall.
The work was inspired by the book of Walter Benjamin, The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction.
