The work LOST IN THE WOODS BOOK is an artist book, which was done as part of a bigger project LOST IN THE WOODS, with the core idea of a gnome character being lost in the constructed world of internet, computer, corporate and consumeristic elements, but is done in a more spontaneous and experimental way. Since it has s a form of a book I see it as a travel diary of a gnome through the constructed landscapes. The book consists of different types of pages such as written texts, scans of clothes, everyday objects and packaging which are further transformed in computer programs and collaged with studio, mobile, and found photographs as well as screenshots. The act of scanning makes a specific aesthetic in which real objects are transformed through the lenses and errors of technology, which metaphorically relates to the technology influencing our life.
